Lean & Green Smash Potato Grilled Cheese Ingredients

  • 2 sachet OPTAVIA Essential Smashed Potatoes
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Reduced-Fat Cheddar Cheese Shredded (optional)*

Lean & Green Smash Potato Grilled Cheese Instructions

  1. Preheat a waffle iron.
  2. In a medium-sized, microwave-safe bowl, mix OPTAVIA Essential Smashed Potatoes and water until well combined. Microwave on high for 11/2 minutes, then stir.
  3. Lightly spray hot waffle iron with cooking spray and pour mixture into iron. Close lid and cook until done, approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. Open lid, and sprinkle choice of cheese (Low-fat shredded Cheddar, mozzarella, or Pepper Jack) on half of waffle (two of the four). Fold over the other half of the waffle, close the lid of the waffle iron, and continue cooking until cheese is melted, approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
