In a large bowl, add sausage, shrimp, squash, zucchini, red peppers, asparagus, black pepper and salt. Add the cajun seasoning and olive oil and toss until coated.
In a large skillet on medium high heat, add the shrimp, sausage and vegetable mixture. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender and the shrimp is pink.
Garnish with fresh parsley, optional.
