My name is Chris Sloan and I, like so many others struggled with my weight for years not realizing the toll being overweight was taking on my body. The recipes on this site are intended for the OPTAVIA 5&1 Plan; however, they can easily be adapted to a low carb or keto lifestyle. If you following a ketogenic diet or low-calorie diet you can enjoy many of the recipes found here to help keep you on track for your weight loss efforts.

Helpful Cooking Utensils
- 1/4 cup Green Onions
- 2 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1.5 cup fresh whole Tomatoes Finely Diced
- 4.5 oz Avocado Diced
- 1/4 cup Jalapeno Peppers Finely Diced
- 14 oz Cooked Shrimp Chopped
- 1 tbsp Fresh Cilantro Chopped
- In a small bowl, combine green onions, fresh lime juice, olive oil, 1/16 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. pepper. Marinate for 5 minutes to mellow the flavors of the onions.
- In a large bowl, combine avocado, tomato, jalapeno peppers (seeds removed) and cooked shrimp (peeled, deveined, chopped). Combine all the ingredients together, add the cilantro and gently toss to mix. Add the remaining salt and pepper to taste.
